How to Use
1. Thoroughly clean the glass you intend to cut. Lay the glass on a clean, flat surface. Measure and mark the glass where you wish to cut.
2. Add some oil into the handle, which makes the cutting head more fluent when cutting.
3. Hold glass cutter firmly, maintain the same pressure throughout the score. The oil will be emitted as you work You can also use a ruler to score the line.
4. Gently tap the glass underneath the line with the metal ball head, and the glass will break along the line neatly.
6. Smooth out any sharp edges.
How to replace the cutter head
1. Using a screwdriver unscrew the existing cutter head
2. Carefully remove the steel cutter head and replace it with the desired cutter head.
3. Put the screw back and tighten the new steel cutter head to the handle using a screwdriver, please note the screw should fave to the cavity in the handle
4. Gently press the cutter head to check elasticity of the joint between the cutter head and handle (keep 1mm distance)
How to add oil to your glass cutter
1. Remove the metal ball head from the handle
2. Using a oil dropper fill the glass cutter with as much oil needed for current project or cutting session
3.Put back the metal ball to the head and close the head top.
4.Adjust the Metal ball head for a smooth oil yield
Warm Tips
1.When cutting glass, the blade should stick close to the ruler, and the handle and glass should be kept at 45-degree angle.
2. Glass cutter can not be used to cut high hardness objects, such as toughened glass, vitrified brick, marble, quartz and so on.
3. Need to operate on a flat surface or on a desktop. It's better to try this a couple of times on a scrap piece of glass for practice.
